If you have completed a writing project with us, we will only share your name with permission from you. We may speak in general about your project without identifying you by name or detail, such as “we have completed three Tarot books for three clients over the past two years.” If your book is marketed or sold by Speak Your Own Book, then you will be credited for that book in our marketing and sales materials.

We may use general data regarding your contacts and projects with us (number of calls received per month, percentage of completed sales contracts, etc.) for monitoring our internal business functions and improving our quality of service. This can include any recorded materials, such as Zoom sessions or voicemails. This data is only used internally and is not shared outside the company.

Likewise, we only share your copyrighted materials (including materials created by Speak Your Own Book) with your permission. We will always ask before sharing a copy of your material with our staff, the media, reviewers, or consumer readers.

We will always work to keep your personal data and copyrighted material safe and password-secured, and we keep our website security certificates up to date at all times. While highly unlikely, if there ever is a breach of security in our data security, any affected client will be contacted immediately with all details we have available and any assistance we can provide in mitigating any damage that may result. We believe strongly in transparency and accountability in all of our business relationships, whether that is through our fair-trade promise with every partner in our service supply chain, our transparent fee structure so you know exactly what your writing team is paid, or our commitment to kindness with every human being and honesty in every situation.
